Put the poem on the board.
Bring in a poem, then mark what is actually on the page while you talk — the words, the sounds, the shape. One tap per noticing, no dialogs and nothing to type.
Evidence first: SEE → LOCATE → LABEL
The move you are modelling: point at the detail, say where it is, name the level — before anyone says what it means.
How you will drive it
- Tap a level, then tap a word — that is the whole of it.
- Tap the next word along to take it into the same group, then Done when the group is finished.
- Tap a mark again to take it off. Tap a line number for the whole line.
- At a laptop: 1234 for levels, H to hide every mark, ⌘Z to undo.

Keep the line breaks and the blank lines between stanzas — they are what the line and stanza numbers are built from.
The poem and your markup stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Check the poem came through correctly
Worth thirty seconds now rather than in front of the class. Fix any line that broke in the wrong place, and leave one blank line between stanzas. Indents matter — keep the spaces at the start of a line if the poem has them.
